Hey hey!

I’m Anson and I'd love to coach your improv group! I've studied at the Magnet and Improvolution and specialize in deepening scenes through emotional work, committing to strong choices, playing dynamic/lived-in characters, improvising at the speed of fun, helping performers overcome fear and fear based moves and mastering object work. I believe every group and improviser has specific needs, learning styles and play styles. I also believe that their skills can be improved by specially tailored exercises and drills. As an ex-student of multiple martial arts disciplines, I love analyzing improv, finding what works and celebrating everyone's unique styles and points of views.

I have experience performing and teaching the following forms: Slacker, Montage, Harold, Spokane, Mono Scene, La Ronde, short form and Narrative. I also have musical improv experience teaching and performing the following: Rock Opera, Montage, Fairy Tail, Hero's Journey, Mono Scene, and short form.

Please drop me a line if you'd like to work together! My hourly rate is $25 an hour for groups of 4 or more and $20 for anything less!
