Anthony Sneed

Hey everyone!

My name is Anthony Sneed, I'm originally from New Jersey, and I've been living in Brooklyn for 10 years. I started doing improv at UCB in 2012 and have most recently been seen in Shannon O'Neil's "Organic Harold" class. I'm on indie teams: FREED&SNEED, Skeletor, Raft, Mad Royalty, Witch and the Supernova team Swerve.

Michael Delaney, Will Hines, Rick Andrews, Shannon O'Neil, Neil Casey, Anthony Atamanuik, Gavin Speiller, Peter McNerny, Brandon Scott Jones, Andrew Yurman-Glaser, Kevin Mullaney, Christian Capozzoli, Philip Markle, Sean Conroy, and many many more.

My overall approach to improv is to have fun. With that in mind, I also like adjust each practice depending on what your group is working on and where you're at.

I find having a strong character will always help your scenes even if the game is absent. My favorite improv quote is from Delaney and he says "if your show isn't funny, the very least the audience can walk away with is having seen good theater". I strive to make sure that reality is present in the work we do.

Outside of improv, I act & produce independent films, ride motorcycles & look to complete the Criterion Collection one day.
