Brian Frange

I've been studying improv at UCB and The Magnet since 2006. I currently perform on the Magnet House Team The Music Industry which is my 5th house team at that theater.

My improv coaching philosophy is stretch yourself and work hard in rehearsals. If you want to get better you have to practice like you mean it! The shows are where you can show off your improv muscles.

I'm in Advanced Study at UCB for sketch and improv, started my own improv group in college at Indiana University, and do a ton of stuff at The Magnet.

I also do stand-up and sketch. I've been a New Face in the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, my sketch duo has been in SF Sketch Fest, Chicago Sketch Fest, Philly, NYC, NCCAF and a lot of stuff. I also recently debuted my one-person sketch show. So I can direct SKETCH TOO!
