Dana Moore

I am an actor, improviser, and karaoke enthusiast residing in New York City. I have been studying improv and musical improv in NYC since 2012 at Magnet, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Annoyance theaters. I have produced sketch, improv, musical improv, and hip hop improv shows from the ground up and have a great eye for the big picture.

I look at improv like music: there are a plethora of genres to play and enjoy - the most exciting (to me) is finding a blend of different styles that works for you.

In addition to acting, I have a background in teaching. This background enhances my ability to effectively anticipate the needs of a group, be organized, be flexible, and GROW. It is my job to create a positive, comfortable space where you can feel confident and limitless.

I perform regularly across NYC with my hip hop improv team ROBOPOP, The Magical World of Musical Improv (Improvised Disney Musical), and various other projects. If you practice and perform with people you love and trust, you will be setting yourself up for success.

I am a big fan of open, honest, and direct communication. Tell me what you would like to work on, tell me what excites you, tell me where you struggle, tell me if I'm talking too much, and I will tailor our rehearsals to suit YOU.
