Megan Doherty

I am an experienced improvisor and sketch comedy writer and director. Currently, I perform with The Hounds and am a member of FLORENCE. I will bring a combination of New York and Chicago style improv to your team. I focus on exploring your environment and having honest relationships in your scenes.

I started improv at The Second City Chicago when I was just a teenager in 1999. In college, I directed and coached my college improv team. I performed and wrote in Chicago and eventually made the move to NYC where I studied at UCB.

In Chicago, I wrote for The Second City and two of my sketch shows were chosen as a "Must See" by the Chicago Reader and a "Critic's Pick" by NBC Chicago. I have also written for the Magnet Theatre in NYC and perform characters.

I have a BA in Theatre from Loyola University Chicago with a focus on acting and playwriting.
