Phebe Szatmari

Hey you guys! I'm a director, writer, and performer in New York City. I've been studying at the Upright Citizens Brigade since 2008 under the greatest of greats: Shannon O'Neill, Zach Woods, Ryan Karels, Chelsea Clarke, Fran Gillespie, John Murray, Brandon Scott Jones, Lydia Hensler, Frank Garcia Hejl, Shaun Diston, and Anthony Atamanuik.

I'm a producer and director of photography on the digital filmmaking team, UCB1, at UCB, and I direct and shoot a lot of stuff for groups/individuals like Garlic Jackson Comedy, The Punctual Drunks, Megan and Kelsey Comedy, Freed & Sneed, and BrickBurns Productions.

When I'm not making comedy videos, I'm eating ice cream OR performing improv all over NYC. I'm on a house team, TALON, at the Queens' Secret Improv Club, and my independent improv groups include Plague, Mourning Wood, HUNS, Scott Baio Wolf, and Witch. You can also find me singing at open mics as the PB of PB&J.
