Sam Rogal

I have been on several house teams at the Magnet Theater and am currently enrolled in Advanced Study at UCB.

My goal is to try to be the kind of improv coach that I have always liked; energetic, fun, organized, responsible, and, most importantly, willing to listen to what a group needs and plan rehearsals around what will make them the best group they can be. I can teach Game, Forms, Improv Basics, or just about anything else. I also like to focus on the individual players, listen to their person goals, and try to taper an experience to what they need.

I have been doing long form since I was 16 and since moving to New York in 2006 I have studied heavily at the Magnet and UCB. I am heavily educated in both philosophies and can interweave them to suit your team. I have studied under Rachel Hamilton, Mark Grenier, Louis Kornfeld, Alex Marino, Peter McNerney, Jamie Rivera, Becky Drysdale, Chelsea Clarke, Kevin Hines, Will Hines, Lydia Hensler, Don Fanelli, Achilles Stamatelaky, Sebastian Conelli, and Armando Diaz.
