Xavier Padin

Xavier "Xave" Padin has been teaching/coaching improv since 2010 and performing professionally since 1998.

He is currently a member of the UCB Theatre's Harold team "babygirl," and a regular cast member of Magnet Theater's Friday Night Show and the Armando Diaz Experience.

Xave is a former member of UCB's Character's Welcome (2019), UCB's sketch show The Bonus Features (2019-2020), and Magnet's weekend sketch team the Executive's (2017-2019). You can also see him performing in character and sketch shows around NYC (follow @xavepadin on Instagram for info) and with the UCB-style improv indie team Woodstock (@improvwoodstock: Baltimore Improv Festival; Hottie Bop; Caveat; Squirrel Theater; Magnet Theater, Hartford Improv Festival).

Xavier has been seen at Caveat in The Code Switch and Hyperfocus (a show about neurodivergence), and at Magnet Theater on Megawatt Harold team Scout!, with sketch comedy team Milwaukee, and with Latinx team CHUCHO!.

Xave's coaching focuses on making magic through playful (and efficient) comedy, using committed character's, clear circumstances, and radical listening. Teams he coaches build skills in:

✅ Being efficient (avoiding distractions)
