Blaise Vacca

hey, I'm blaise! my pronouns are they/them because I bring the nuance of a full greek chorus to every coaching experience. I'm also queer. I'm passionate about improv that is Empathic, Earnest, and Enthusiastic. (EEE!)

I'm a UCB Academy student and have been on house teams at the PIT and the Armory. I perform a bunch with my indie team Ghost Clique and BoogieManja team Anxious! at the Disco. I have performed with We Will Slay 2, Someone Saw Something: An Improvised True Crime Documentary, and Spotlight (writer) at UCB. I've also been a writer/performer with Moxie Sketch Lab and Ringers at the Magnet. I perform there and other places with Thank You for Coming Out.

Some people I’ve studied under include Lou Gonzalez, Alex Dickson, Caroline Cotter, Johnna Scrabis, Carrie McCrossen, Maritza Montañez, Anthony Apruezze, Chris Roberti, and Chloe Koser.

I have experience with such classiqué forms as the Harold, Spokane, and montage as well as more experimental forms such as improvised episodic documentary and improv based on storytelling/solo performance.
