Improviser with 10+ years of teaching experience at Sea Tea Improv (Hartford, CT), newish to NYC; training programs completed include: BATS Improv, San Francisco (2010); Second City Conservatory, Los Angeles (2012); Sea Tea Improv, Hartford, CT (2014). In NYC have taken classes at Magnet and workshops at UCB, as well as mime workshops with American Mime Theatre and Broken Box Mime Theater.

My strength is in relationship and character-driven improv, with specific, grounded realities. Students know me best for theatrical improv classes I created my own curricula for, and a long-running two-prov show with rotating guests where I did almost every improv form that exists and even more that don’t. I do teach and incorporate game as a comedic engine of scenes, but if your team does fast-paced, tag-run heavy, talking-head scenes, you can find a better suited coach! I will force you to do object work and to be a vaguely believable facsimile of a human. Sorry.
