Elana is a teacher and performer at the Magnet Theater. She can be seen on stage with Armando Diaz Experience, Magnet Theater TourCo, and as Pepita (winner of Inspirado and San Diego's Best of the Fest), and in her two-woman play, Sisters Three (New York Times Critic's Pick). She's taught at theaters, festivals, corporations, non-profits, and educational institutions around the world and co-hosts an annual Improv and Yoga retreat in Nosara, Costa Rica.
Elana believes in tailoring rehearsals to meet the needs and aesthetic of each team/practice group. In addition to scenework, she enjoys helping ensembles hone forms to fit their style of play.
