Matt Pozzuolo

Hi there! My name is Matt and I am an improviser and coach based in NYC. I have trained with and performed at UCB, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Second City, iO Theater, and The PIT.

I currently perform as part of Peter & Matt (PIT March Madness Winners 2025), Zero (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026), GUPS (BCC Home Team 2025), Kind Regards (PIT House Team).

I perform regularly in shows such as “TWO MUCH w/ Peter & Matt” (PIT), “Zero F*cks!” (BCC), "Improvised The Office" (UCB), “PIT Ensembles - Kind Regards” (PIT), “The Great American Shit Carnival” (UCB), “Profound” (PIT), “Peter & Matt Variety Hour” (Green Room 42), and many more. I have also performed in Improv festivals such as iO Fest at iO Theater in Chicago, BCC’s Fun & Dumb Festival, PIT’s Indie-Pendence Day Festival, Steelstacks, Hartford Improv Fest and many more!

My approach to coaching involves finding what YOU think is fun, exemplifying that, playing that, and fully committing. I love working on existing structures with teams (Spokane, Slacker, Harold, Monoscene, Deconstruction, La Ronde, etc.), and/ or helping groups develop their own original forms.
