Patrick Grizzard

Hey, I'm Patrick! I want to coach your improv team and direct your sketches/characters/videos! I've studied improv and sketch since 2012 - at UCB Training Center, Magnet, and Reckless - and acting through Atlantic's Part-Time Conservatory. You can catch me Wednesdays at the Magnet with Astro Tramps. I also write and perform with the Magnet sketch team Kinfolk. Past credits include season two of Characters Welcome at UCB NY, and three seasons with BoogieManja.

I'm big on playing joyfully, committing hard, and simplifying your scene work through emotional and physical choices. I draw equally on the approaches of all the places I've studied, but I'm happy to tailor my coaching/directing to whatever you're working on.

I come to practices/rehearsals with specific objectives in mind, and structure warm-ups, exercises, sets, and notes towards those goals. My aim is to help your ensemble improve by addressing both group and individual needs and having funnnnnnn!
