Rachel MacRae Bouton

​Rachel Bouton currently appears as a member of the touring musical improv company Broadway's Next Hit Musical, as the host of Phaedra's Cabaret (Flux Industries), and as a member of the musical improv house team Vern (People's Improv Theatre). She is also the creative director behind This is Your Life: THE MUSICAL, performing improvised musicals for parties and events.

As a teacher she focuses on organic scene-work, clarity, and simplicity. When teaching musical improvisation, Rachel believes that diving into melody and emotion is the key to creating memorable, musical scenes.

Rachel is comfortable coaching a variety of improv forms including harold, montage, and narrative structures.

She also is comfortable right now, on her couch where she is writing this.
