Rachel Taenzler

Hello! I'm Rachel, and I've been improvising in NYC for over a decade. I currently perform at UCB on Harold Night with The Library (formerly Christopher Basketball) and around NYC with my indie team Mercy Santos. I’ve previously been on Lloyd Night with Judy Big Mouth, Statham, and Dog People and UCB’s Touring Company. As a student, I’ve worked with dozens of incredible teachers, including Abra Tabak, Shaun Diston, Nicole Drespel, Anthony Atamanuik, Alex Dickson, and James Dwyer.

I am a big believer in aggressive team support and group ownership, as well as using game tools like labeling and framing to make your improv scenes simple and fun. I also love the Harold and think it's a great form. I’d love to work with your team or practice group!
